The Staufersaal is a versatile event venue with modern amenities and a stylish ambiance. Whether it’s a conference, a convention, a ceremony, a gala, a concert, or a musical—the hall can be adapted to the needs of various events.
It’s ideal for sophisticated events, as it features a spacious stage, professional lighting and sound systems, and the ability to completely darken the room. Cultural highlights such as cabaret evenings, plays, and regional competitions are also regularly held here.
The space offers a high-quality and open event experience thanks to its column-free architecture and the ability to expand into the adjacent foyer.
With its 720 m², the hall can accommodate up to 833 people. The expanded Staufersaal (including the large foyer) offers 1,270 m² of space for a maximum of 1,260 people.

How did the conference room get its name?
The „Staufersaal“ is the largest room in the building and is named after the prominent Staufer noble family, which shaped large parts of southern Germany – including the Electoral Palatinate – during the Middle Ages. Famous rulers such as Frederick I Barbarossa and Frederick II were members of this dynasty. The name serves as a reminder of the Staufers’ historical significance to the region.
